ABOUT JERRY GALLAGHER

Jerry Gallagher has been Living in, Working in and Writing in the Lehigh Valley Area of Eastern Pennsylvania for a long time.  Jerry spent several years as a  Reviewer for the University of Scranton's "Best Sellers" Book Review Magazine and has also written Feature Stories, Movie, Television and Concert Reviews for PA East and The Morning Call Newspapers.

 

Since completing his Bachelor's Degree in English  at King's College in Wilkes Barre, PA and his Masters Degree in Counseling at Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania Jerry worked  for many years as a Counselor, Social Worker and a Family Therapist in the Lehigh Valley Area of Pennsylvania.  

 

Jerry retired from Counseling in 2012 and since then has been pursuing a career as a Writer.  To date Jerry has written and published Five Books, all of which are available through Amazon.com in Paperback and Kindle Versions.  Jerry's books are also available in all other E Book Formats through Smashwords.com.  These books include Three Non Fiction Titles including "Lonesome Travelers," a Non Fiction Novel about the Authors Trip through The United States and Canada he took with a Friend in 1977, "Letters To A Lost Nation: A Watergate Chronicle" and "The Triumph Of Barack Obama: More Letters To A Lost Nation."  Jerry has also published two Novels including "The Folksingers," A Novel that takes place mainly at the Newport Folk Festival of 1963.  Jerry's latest published Novel is "The Man On The Grassy Knoll - The Assassins" which is the first Volume of a Proposed Series that spans Decades and deals with some of the most Important Political and Moral Issues of the American 20th Century.  "The Assassins" puts a disturbing Fictional Spin on The 1963 Assassination of President John F. Jerry is married and lives in Allentown, Pennsylvania.  He has Four Adult Children and Six Grandchildren.
